CrossFit & Powerlifting Coach
Jake graduated from Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, as well as a Diploma in GIS and Urban Planning from Fanshawe College. He has his CF-L1 Certificate and coaches both CrossFit and Powerlifting in individual and small group settings.
Growing up, Jake played hockey, football, and rugby which lead to him becoming a varsity athlete at Laurier on the Men's Rugby team. After university, he transitioned into competitive powerlifting and strength training, winning the Central Canadian Powerlifting Championships in 2018, and placing 4th at Nationals in 2019. He has also won several provincial and regional gold medals. Jake has recently switched into CrossFit following the 2023 CrossFit Open.
Jake loves when an athlete has that “aha” moment and something just clicks. He also enjoys watching athletes achieve success after putting in hard hours of work and dedication.
