Blair Hennessey

Blair Hennessey has a diverse background as an athlete and now as a physical therapist. He grew up playing competitive hockey and soccer before joining the Canadian Forces as an Infantryman, serving 9.5 years. However, he always had a passion for Physical Therapy and knew that’s where he would end up. Blair is a graduate of the Western University Master of Physical Therapy program and utilizes a combination of exercise-based therapy alongside Functional Dry-Needling with IMS, joint mobilization, and soft-tissue release to achieve patient-centred goals and restore function.

Blair has a background in strength and conditioning, which he leans on in developing patient-centred treatment plans for people of all ages and backgrounds. Blair also holds his Sports First Responder and has provided on and off-field Physical Therapy care to several varsity sports teams, including Football, Men’s Hockey, Men’s Basketball, Track and Field / Cross-Country, Swimming, and recently, Professional Soccer. Blair has experience with common musculoskeletal injuries, pain, dysfunction and post-operative Shoulders, Hips, Knees, and Ankles as a part of his clinical experience and while on placements during his Master of Physical Therapy.

When not in the clinic, Blair swims, bikes, and runs to train for Ironman Triathlons, volunteers with Concussion Legacy Foundation, loves walking his dog, and is working toward acquiring his Diploma in Sports Physical Therapy.
